Who We Are

CamPain is a patient-led, peer-to-peer support group for people with persistent pain based in Camden. We have been in existence since October 2018.

Our main focus is organising and enabling people with chronic pain to support each other. To that end we have monthly face-to-face meetings, weekly online meetings, a regular newsletter and lively WhatsApp group.

Anyone who lives, works or is treated for chronic pain in Camden and has completed a pain management programme is welcome to join us.

Our Partners

This group has cooperated with local NHS MSK and pain services as well as the voluntary and community sector.

We have worked with clinicians from the UCLH Pain Management Centre. The Camden Pain Service (based at the Royal Free Hospital) provide our details to patients completing their programme.

We are supported by  The Old Diorama Arts Centre  who provide us with the space for our monthly meetings. We previously met at West Euston Project's Hpod facility.

We are registered with Voluntary Action Camden on their

social prescribing list.

Organised by Patients for Patients

Our friendly organisers, all people with pain themselves, are DBS checked and have extensive experience in working with the NHS as lived experience partners, peer coaches or are involved in patient and public engagement in health science.

You can find out much more about us in the About section and by exploring this website. Please feel free to get in touch for more information using the contact details at the bottom of every page.
